ABOUT US

Cherry Pie’s beginnings date back to the late 1990’s, in Wisconsin. After several years of working in a variety of retail businesses, including adult retail, we envisioned our own “brand” of retail stores for adults, and Cherry Pie was born. First and foremost, we were focused on creating a shopping environment, sales approach and product lines that were inviting to both women and couples from all communities while still offering the traditional products single men would find.

In 2002 we began looking for a home for Cherry Pie, bringing us to North Carolina, where we opened our first store in Chapel Hill in early 2005. Cherry Pie soon established itself as a sex-positive business in “The Triangle.” As we celebrate our 15th anniversary in the region, we have continued to receive local recognition for helping bring the “sex industry” into the 21st century, including being named “Best Place for Erotic Gifts” eleven years running.

In addition, as a local business we take pride in collaborating with countless organizations to promote safe, healthy and positive sexual health. This includes a wide variety of events on and around college campuses, the NC Pride Festival, multiple female-focused fundraisers, and who can forget Drag Bingo?!

In 2011 we decided to expand our vision, and opened a Cherry Pie in Raleigh, with the same focus on providing an inviting shopping environment, outstanding customer service, product knowledge and outstanding prices.

As our latest venture gets underway, we look forward to offering you, our customer, the same level of outstanding customer service, positive sexual vibrations and adult product knowledge folks have come to expect from Cherry Pie.
